March 2003 the first 26 episodes from the 1966 U.S. "Kimba"

with improved video quality and with lots of extras, I recommend
the purchase of the mentioned

Kimba episodes (the soundtrack and the cast of voices is
completely different). It is distributed by Warner Vision,
subsidiary of AOL Time Warner.

This isn't the release
of the "Jungle Emperor Leo" movie from 1966, it is
the long-awaited U.S. release of the 1997 "Jungle Emperor
Leo" movie. As you may know, the story for this movie was
taken from the "Go ahead Leo"("Leo the Lion")
TV series, which means that here we are talking about Leo(Kimba's
name in the original Japanese version), Rya(Kitty's original
name), Rune and Rukyo. The
DVD contains both subtitled and dubbed versions of the movie.

This is yet another release of the 1993 ("Canadian") episodes. The DVD comes in a slim DVD case, and so far there are 6 volumes with 12 episodes in total (only the first 2 volumes are currently available). The picture in these DVDs is slightly better than the one on the DVDs by Genius (although the colors are similarly blown out), while the episode titles are identical to those on the first 2 volumes from Genius Entertainment.
